=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Hi ,

We’ve all had them… Those really good days, when we feel

Then the bad days, when everything seems… too hard, to
say the least.

strategist, Rich Waterman, you can discover the recipe for
mastering that ‘good day’ feeling, more often than not.

Best Timing Tips for Facebook - by Charles Poole
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Facebook's "EdgeRank" algorithm has many small business
entrepreneurs asking how to utilize every post on Facebook
In order to receive much attention on the social site, users
must learn as much about when to post as they have learned
how or what to post. The following top timing tips will help
you get increased visitor traffic to your post, product, or
blog.

The first timing tip for Facebook is to put yourself in the
place of your readers. Think about the individuals or customer
base you want to notice your daily posts and announcements.
Are they parents? If so, they will most likely be awake in
the morning before getting the children ready for school or
at night after they put the children to bed. If your blog or
product targets parents, you should not place your post
in-between those times when parents are at work--and the
children at school. Does your consumer base consist of
white-collar working adults? If so, you do not want to place
the posts on Facebook during working hours. The best time to
post would be somewhere between 6pm or 7pm, when adults are
most likely home from work and have time to check Facebook
and relax.

The next timing tip for Facebook is to check the times of
comments you received. Did you post a status update in the
afternoon and find that more people "liked" it in the
evening? If so, then you have a marker of the optimum time
for your readers. Look back at old comments you posted that
generated a lot of discussion and ask yourself, "Why did
this post and that post provide a lot of feedback versus
others?" You will find that if your posts generate comments
at one time of the day versus another, you should post
during that optimum time each day.

Lastly, study the Facebook pages of other people. If, for
instance, you own an online dog boutique, check to see what
other dog boutique owners on Facebook write on their Facebook
pages and how many comments (or few) they receive at certain
times of day. If you are rather new to Facebook (meaning that
you may have had a Facebook page but are just starting a
business page), you may want to gauge other businesses and
their work on Facebook as a guide for your own. You cannot
lose to study the techniques of others who are more well-known
than you.
