The internet business operates in an extreme tough
circumstances and many things influence on the results.
That is why the experience of the webmaster is valuable.
The most useful part of that experience are the facts,
i.e. a webmaster has to measure many things and to test
new things, even when mots of them do not bring better
results.

This article presents some ideas for the results improvement.
Some are pure technical, some are creative ones. But the
heart of the success is the internet business plan and the
overall idea of the business. A webmaster has to understand
the soul of his online business, because he is the host of
the online presence.

1. Is Your Offer Unique And In What Way?

We all internet business entrepreneurs offer benefits to our
target group in a way, which is personal and unique. It is
not that important, what we think about our offer, but how
the market thinks. If we put the main competitors beside
each other and compare them with each other, how would we
describe the differences? What uniqueness our offer presents?

Todays internet business is very visual. This means, that
people create their first impressions very quickly and do
an immediate emotional decision, with their instincts,
whether they see any idea to surf into the page or not.
How is your visual competiveness? Is your offer clean and
easy to navigate? Does it present the promise, the benefit,
clearly?

2. The Bounche Rate.

One sign, that something should be improved is a high bounche
rate. Either the traffic is not related or the landing page
does not work. The only way is to test new landing pages, to
think once more the keyword list and the sources of the
visitors.

3. Do You Know, How The Visitors Behave On The Page?

This is essential. The landing page is like a shop, and the
webmaster has a detailed target, how he wishes, that the
visitor behaves. If the route is something, which is not
correct or if there is no clear, common routes, something
is wrong. The landing page has a certain role in the sales
funnel and a certain call to action. If these are unknown,
it is a time to use webmaster optimizer software to get
facts about the visitor movements.

4. Is Your Sales Funnel Organized?

Usually an internet business has a certain sales funnel,
i.e. route, how the visitor goes step by step to the final
call to action and after that to the list, where he is
handled in a planned way. Do the different steps form a
reasonable flow of actions, which work nicely together?

5. Are You Active?

This is internet business. The term business says, what is
the heart. It is the actions, we all marketers must be
active. The actions mean that the business is following
actively the market and the development of the customer
needs. If your offer is too static, the target group regard
it as boring.
