Is Your Online Business Growing At A Snail's Pace? <br />

I know you work hard. You may even be working VERY hard at <br />
building your online business. You probably have a good plan <br />
too; you aren't just working for working's sake... you really <br />
are putting a great amount of thought into what you are doing. <br />
<br />
That being said, do you still feel like your business is <br />
growing at a snail's pace? <br />
<br />
If it is any consolation, that is a very common feeling for <br />
new Internet marketers. Unfortunately, the sad fact about <br />
all this is that hard work alone is not enough. Wouldn't <br />
it be great if all we had to do was work hard and success <br />
would fall into our laps! <br />
<br />
One problem which clogs the road to success is lack of <br />
focus on just one or two core projects. Perhaps you think <br />
your abilities to multi-task are greater than they are. <br />
Honestly, "multi-tasking" is WAY over rated! Remember: <br />
Relentless FOCUSED Action! Take a hard look at how your <br />
perceive yourself. Are you over estimating your ability <br />
to get things done effectively? Are you leaving too many <br />
loose ends too often? <br />
<br />
Another problem is that you may be over-thinking the process. <br />
Some of my most successful students aren't trying to invent <br />
a better mouse trap. They simply plod away at the most <br />
mundane aspects of Internet marketing. I see too many <br />
beginning marketers spending way too much time searching <br />
for that better mouse trap instead of working hard at the <br />
basics of Internet marketing. Do not try to reinvent the <br />
wheel! Spend your time, at least early on, working at the <br />
fundamentals which have been tried and proven over and over <br />
by countless successful marketers. This is the surest way <br />
to get traction with Internet marketing. <br />
<br />
I cannot tell you the number of times I have kicked myself <br />
for not putting more effort into the fundamentals earlier <br />
on in my career. A few examples for me were list building <br />
and article writing. I know you KNOW what you should be <br />
doing with your time. It is just a matter of being <br />
disciplined and following through with what needs done. <br />
<br />
One thing I want you to always remember is that success <br />
almost always comes in small bits and pieces. I know you <br />
wish it would hurry up and happen. However, this desire <br />
is what creates the "search for the better mouse trap" <br />
problem and the jumping from project to project. I can <br />
almost guarantee you that success will come one small <br />
piece at a time and add up slowly over time. Therefore, <br />
it only makes sense that you should spend the bulk of <br />
your time doing things which will result in small <br />
successes! <br />
<br />
- Stay focused! - Work hard at just a few proven marketing <br />
methods you enjoy and are good at. - Keep at it and learn <br />
from your small successes! <br />
<br />
Relax and stay positive. Nothing good ever comes out of <br />
desperation. Internet marketing requires creative thinking <br />
and the complete belief in coming success! <br />
<br />
Most of all, enjoy what you do and have fun along the way! <br />
<br />
One of the best ways to stay focused and on track is to <br />
participate in weekly coaching calls and private forum. <br />
With those you stay in touch with other marketers who <br />
are building their businesses too. <br />
<br />
If you haven't tried this type of personal mentoring, <br />
you may very well be missing the kick start your <br />
business needs. <br />
